RIP Nelson Mandela

Former President of South Africa and activist Nelson Mandela passed away Thursday at the age of 95.

The current President Jacob Zuma gave a statement to reporters "We will always love Madiba for teaching us that it is possible to overcome hatred and anger in order to build a new nation and a new society," President referred to Mandela using his clan name shared by his countrymen.

Mandela will be buried in a state funeral on Sunday, December 15, in his ancestral hometown of Qunu in the Eastern Cape province in a state funeral. The official memorial service is taking place Tuesday in First National Bank Stadium in Johannesburg.

To pay respects to his work as President from Wednesday through next Friday, his body will lie in state at the seat of government in Pretoria, where he served as president.

Nelson Mandela was an amazing leader for his people as well as others. Mandela is an inspiration to all advocates and his legacy will live on forevermore. As President Zuma said " Long live Madiba"
