Do we remember Nia Crooks? Evelyn Lozada's friend/assistant who randomly appeared on Vh1's reality show "Basketball Wives". I know we remember her slapping fire out of Jennifer Williams. Jennifer always said she doesn't fight her lawyers do that for her. Jennifer kept her word with pressing charges against Nia.
After slapping Jennifer TMZ reported Crooks was charged with misdemeanor battery. Nia could've done a year in jail. She was smart to take a deal with the prosecution and plead no contest. Considering the slap did happen on camera that was her best bet.
Crooks was given a year of probation, $645 fine, ordered to write an apology letter, stay away from Jennifer and 13 weeks of anger management.
The argument the fight and this sentencing is all high school. These grown woman need to act according to their age group. I know Nia will think twice before she slaps someone on camera again! If she's ever on camera again. Ha!
