So Barry decided to make a reply to Kendrick's Control verse. Though he wasn't mentioned on the track, my fav rapper is like me we don't care!!

Fans are like where did Cassidy come from? But they follow up with He went hard tho! Um it's Cassidy this is what he does. Just don't get him to try to make a commercial album that might not work. They don't call him BARS for no reason! It's so effortless. Like I said mentioned or not from NYC or not. That verse is supposed to make every rapper want to reply. If hip hop aint dead I'ma need more of these replies and less twitter post!

Kendrick Lamar and J Electronica was released last night and its gone viral! 

Hip Hop fans are going crazy off of Kendrick's verse. The Compton rapper just came at the newest and hottest rappers heads. The funniest part he's claiming he's the "King of NY"! 

Heres the part of Kendrick's verse that has everybody in a frenzy :

Even rappers not mentioned had something to say Jada Kiss tweeted "Haha REAL RAP is ALMOST back I LOVE it! # don't be scared now " 

Fab wasn't named dropped but I'm sure Kendrick's King of NY line has something to do with him tweeting last night " Any studios open yet ?"

I'm so freaking excited shxt just got too real. Every rapper mentioned or not should feel that hunger and want to get in any studio ASAP! ( no rocky ) Anybody that didn't know Kendrick Lamar was a problem or competition just realized it. The verse was metaphorically killing my brain before he even mentioned any rappers. The jabs just made it that much better. It's no denying this verse is going down in hip hop history!

Fashion Fail: Russell Westbrook

This is what Russell Westbrook decided to wear to the Teen Choice Awards last night.

Really ? Russell you're getting outta control now! You're disrespecting fashion at this point and clearly don't care about others vision. My eyes are sad. You look like a bootleg Bruce Leroy and the karate kid all grown up.

Out of all the wacky outfits you've worn this by far is the worse. I don't know you personally but I truly hope the isn't your real sense of style. You're a decent looking young man, get a stylist because clearly you're not cut for fabric decisions.


P.S Unless you're about to be the 2nd out gay NBA player Stop dressing like this!! You're only attracting men no woman wants this. ( No offense )

LAHH: Will Rasheeda divorce Kirk?!

They say reality shows can ruin a relationship, it's actually the people in the relationship. Kirk and Rasheeda Frost have been together 17 years. He forgot all of that to have one night with two jump offs. Telling his wife to abort their child because HE didn't feel it was the time. ( niccas got some nerve ). It's funny how Kirk wanted to show his "manly side" after K. Michelle repeatedly called him gay. (that's another discussion) 

The second season of Vh1's Love and Hip Hop was just as drama filled as the first. I know no one expected the chain of events that took place between Kirk and Rasheeda. Due to his chain events of fuckery the rumor is Rasheeda will serve Kirk with the divorce papers on the reunion! 

Part 1 of LAHH reunion ended with us wondering where the Frosts' are today. I wouldn't be surprised if they're gonna stay together. After all we don't know that married life, it's for better or for worse! Some couples have been through worse, except its not caught on film. 

Do you think Kirk did enough ass kissing to get out the dog house ?! Or Is Rasheeda ready  to sign them papers?!

Happy 50th Birthday Whitney Houston RIP

 

August 9, 2013 would have been Whitney Houston's 50th birthday.
It's been a year since she left us too soon on February 11, 2012. Despite her personal problems Whitney's talent always over shadowed. Earning 2 Emmys, 7 Grammys, 22 American Music Awards, 31 Billboard Music Awards and a sea of others in her career. Houston was a living legend who's legacy will live on forever!

Her gravesite was recently given a headstone. It's a heart shaped stone engraved in the famous lyrics written by Dolly Parton that made Whitney a star "I will always love you." Also written on the tombstone is " THE VOICE." A nickname Houston occasionally answered too. Whitney is buried next to her father, her gravesite is in her hometown of New Jersey.

Jay and Dame reunited: The Dynasty continues?!

Jay Z & Dame reunited? Well it's a start, The former business partners attended mutual friend and former Roca fella executive Chaka Pilgrim's birthday party in New York City Wednesday night. 

Dame Dash shared the reunion pics via Instagram the following morning. 

Fans as well as those in attendance including Mrs.Carter , Solange Knowles and J Cole were happy to see the two in a happy state. Considering Jay and Dame supposedly haven't seen each other since 2004 after the split of the Roc.

Neither Jay nor Dame have shown any hard feelings towards each other. Always given their props and respect when asked about one another.

So what now right? Do we get gassed? is the Dynasty about to continue? This leaves me pondering. 

Roca fella records will forever be apart of history! I would love to see what Jay Z and Dame could conquer in 2013.

Beyonce does the big chop?!

Beyonce posted some selfies of her new look last night via Instagram. Mrs.Carter knows a picture speaks 1000 words there was no caption needed. 

I love my Auntie Gigi and she seems to pull off many hairstyles but their usually good wigs. She's done the short look once before during her Etta James phase. For those getting hyped I don't think she cut her real hair. We all know Beyonce only uses top of the line hair, so how can we really tell?

MLB: Alex Rodriguez suspended for 211 games ?!

Alex Rodriguez returning to the fields of baseball this Monday after hip surgery, should've been a joyful day. Instead A Rod finds out he's been suspended until the end of the 2014 MLB season. 

It was discovered Rodriguez was involved with the South Florida anti-aging clinic Biogenesis. 12 others players are banned for just 50 games including three All-Stars: Nelson Cruz of the Texas Rangers, Everth Cabrera of the San Diego Padres and Jhonny Peralta of the Detroit Tigers. 

A Rod spoke at news conference Monday on the issue "Obviously, I'm disappointed with the news today.  "Probably the worst time of my life for sure," he said. "Obviously, for the circumstances that are at hand, and dealing with a tough surgery and a rehab program and being 38."

When asked about finally being able to return Rodriguez says  

"I am thrilled and humbled to have the opportunity to put on this uniform again and to play major league baseball again" , It's been 20 years ... very excited to get out there to play baseball and to help my team win and to prove to myself, my teammates, the fans of New York, the fans of baseball, that I still have a shot to play the game at a high level and I'm going to give it my best"

When asked if he's denying using the enhancement drugs he said "We'll have a forum to discuss all of that and we'll talk about it then" 

A Rods suspension is equivalent of 211 regular-season games but he has 72 hours to inform MLB that he will appeal. Rodriguez will be allowed to play until his appeal is heard. 

Though baseball is a yawn for a girl like me I support my Yankees and Lord knows they need a championship. A Rod is too old for this bull and its not looking to good for him. If its one thing money can buy that's a great lawyer! I'm hoping for the best but preparing for the worse. Good luck A Rod and stay away from South Florida!

As a pre teen you yearn for your first kiss. You practice and hope you'll be good enough. As you get  older it seems kissing becomes less important. Why is it considered too much to share a kiss? 

Couples tend to forget to do the  things that got them their boyfriend or girlfriend. A kiss is a tiny gesture that can do a whole lot. Whether alil peck or a full on make out session. You can say Hello, goodbye, I miss you and I want you all through a simple kiss. 

As a couple we shouldn't be just having sex with no smooching involved. In a jump off booty call situation by all means, gotta be safe but not with your partner. Find that inner preteen and yearn to kiss. Smooches!

The Mrs.Carter show: Beyonce completes BK takeover!!

The Mrs. Carter show has came and left Brooklyn! Beyonce Carter had 3 shows from Saturday to Monday at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn New York. Hubby Jay Z  ( my uncle ) surprised the audience at the final show last night! 

Mrs. Carter hasn't been on tour in a few years and after having daughter Blue Ivy, I guess she felt it was time to visit her fans. With tickets on such high demand selling out in minutes. They've added a fourth show at the Barclays center for December. Beyonce truly tried to make sure her fans got the chance to see her. 

I've been to all of Bey's world tours I always enjoy myself. Theres no denying she's a full on entertainer. 

Now its time for new music Auntie Gigi! I know this is all apart of your master plan but your beehive is growing impatient! We want to know what's taking so long with the new material. New songs mean new videos, new albums & another world tour. 

Can Beyonce keep her crown with or without new music ?!

Not sure if you've heard the rumors of Raven Symone being a lesbian. There was talk of her dating the popping AG from Americas Next Top Model Azmarie Livingston. With no pictures or real facts there was no way to actually confirm the rumor mills.

The media is beyond thirst now that Raven has actually confirmed she's a lesbian. Raven Symone goes to twitter to share her joy of gay marriage being legalized saying "I can finally get married! Yey government! I'm so proud of you" 

Call me normal but what's the big hype about? She's happy she can actually get married when and if she wants too. The media is just happy to have some sort of confirmation. I love Raven Symone no matter what! like Hello! its That's So Raven she's Olivia she's a cheetah girl she can do no wrong! 

Raven is young and has always had the Idgaf attitude. I'm hoping that this gives other actresses the courage to come out!

Reality TV takeover: Will sitcoms ever return ?!

There was a time when reality tv shows were rare. During the 90's it was MTV's "The Real World " and "Road Rules" and that's where it ended. There were actually sitcoms on tv with real actors. Seinfeld, 90210, Moesha and Friends.

When MTV started their own reality show called "The Hills". That's when the real problem started when reality shows became less real and more scripted. MTV ran the hills down the drama was awesome but mostly staged giving others the idea to fake the drama. It's called reality tv I want to see something that's real!

Can't just blame MTV, VH1 took part with the popular Flava of Love dating game with rap hype man Flava Flav. Don't get me wrong there's American Idol, Amazing Race and Big Brother type reality shows that don't fall under the fake reality category but its on prime time networks they can't!

Now with the takeover of The Bad Girls Club , Real Housewives of everything and newly Love and Hip Hop.This leaves me wondering when will we all be running to our televisions to watch an actor actually acting? We need a sitcom takeover. The shows that make you laugh, you grow to love the characters we need another Cobsy show, Martin and Everybody loves Raymond. I love talking my Shh but acting is my first love!

NBA rumors: Lebron James a Knick in 2015?!

Could it be ? According to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, Lebron James says he'll "strongly consider" coming to New York Knicks in 2015!  

 Hoopsworld's Steve Kyler article that New York is prepared to let Carmelo Anthony build his own team in the summer of 2015. ( Really ? I didn't even know they allowed this ) 

Knickerbocker fans don't get too happy it cost money to afford players such as Lebron James. They also have to consider the players already on the team.

According to Dan Favale (BleacherReport) In 2015 the Knicks are expected to have a payroll 90.6 million. Andrea Bargnani, Tyson Chandler, Amar'e Stoudemire and Anthony account for almost $73 million of that figure 

Theoretically, then, if the Knicks wished to make a push for LeBron next summer, they'd have to trim approximately $50 million (maybe more) from the 90.6 they're projected to have.

It's two years too soon to put a fact on this trade. Lebron coming to New York can happen but then we have to wonder can the NYK even afford him. Lets get through this up coming NBA season first.
